Picked up at hotel by the Baipai Cookery school bus. Honeymooners Michelle & Julian already in bus and picked up financial adviser Guy on way to school. There were 9 in total in the class. Had a great time. Suffice it to say that it was so good that we booked another class for next Thursday (now changed to Friday as you will see later). We will be doing a different menu then. As Mim goes home on Saturday 28th, think that our 'family' meal should be on Friday 27th and we can do the cooking. (Is that OK with you Hans and the Hatfield Bartrums?)
When we got back to the hotel we sat by the pool for about an hour, Could not swim as pool closed for 'underneath' cleaning.
Mim packed our bags for Chiang Mai (Esme, for herself Mim only packed 2 skirts and 2 pairs of trousers plus a number of tops and kept the shoes down to 3 pairs - thought you would be impressed!). Pote rang to ask what time we were leaving for the station. Told him 6.30 as we would rather be early and he said he would pick us up. It is a long way for him to come but he is very kind and concerned about us.
We did not eat as we had eaten everything we cooked in the morning but went down for an hours foot massage before setting the alarm for 5 am and crawling into bed.
